slugbox: forcleo: This month, it’s been a year since Cleo had emergency surgery and then later was diagnosed with cancer.  I’m so happy for this time with her, and that she’s been taking chemotherapy well for a year now. Everyone at the special clinic loves her and carries her around the place like a baby. She still enjoys the car rides to every chemo appointment, and though her attitude changes once we go inside, she always perks up when we get back in the car.  Lymphoma is incurable, but treatable. And Cleo is proof that a pet go under chemotherapy and still have amazing quality of life. My mother and grandfather tried to tell me to put her down immediately after she was diagnosed. After my dad and I did research and talked to the cancer doctor, we said no. Look at her. She runs around and plays. She wrestles with the other cats. She eats like a pig. She snuggles every moment we’re home. That is not a cat that needs to be put down. If anyone wants to know more about specifically what chemo she is doing, and what her holistic diet is (which has been just amazing for all our cats), message me. My heart… Via slugbox Zoom

micthemicrophone: sirachanotsauce: I know I’m not the only one here with this, but it’d be interesting to see how many other people actually feel the same way.  I’ve seen countless numbers of people say things like “Cupcakes ruined Pinkie for me” or “I can no longer look at X the same way because of Y” I suppose it’s something that cannot be helped. But honestly, when i watch the show, my mind just seems to block out anything fandom related. Not matter how many times I’ve seen or read about Pinkie being some kind of murderous psychopath, no matter how many times I see Rarity being some kind of sadistic pain monger. I can still watch the show for what it is, A nice, happy, cheerful and cute tv show with bright and colourful ponies. That’s enough meta for now…I’m sorry D: I usually stay away from this, but yeah. I gotta agree with this^ I love the fandom, and it affects me, but not the way I view the show. The show is sort of… separate to it all in a way. Via Why did I make this? :D Zoom
